2 Factor Authentication (2FA)

Your privacy and security is a huge deal for us at Bereev, we’re constantly exploring different ways to keep you and your data safe at all times. With our latest release, we’re introducing 2 Factor Authentication (also known as 2FA) to your death preparation experience. Let’s start with some quick facts.

It’s the 6 digit verification code that you get via email (or SMS) whenever you try to log in, similar to the TAC code you get with online banking.

To add another layer of security on top of your password. This ensures that even if someone else knows your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the verification code.

Whenever you log in to Bereev, we’ll send you an email with the 6 digit code. Enter that verification code after your password and you’re in!

Yes but we don’t recommend it. If you still want to disable 2FA, we’ll show you how below.

See it in action!

Go to the Login page as usual and fill up your email and password.

We’ll send you your 6 digit verification code via email.

Copy and paste or manually enter your 6 digit code.

How to disable 2FA?

Click on your name on the top right corner.

It’s under General Settings.

Disable 2FA by clicking on the toggle, orange means enabled while grey means disabled.
